The Texas state legislature is considering dssolving The Texas Commission On The Arts. The Texas Comision On The Arts is a state agency with a buget of 15 million that provides funding for various art orginazations around the state. Grants that the commisson provides to the field support up to 200,00 Texans who have permanent jobs in the state. The arts in the state of Texas generates $4.1 billion in taxable sales each year and support of those arts organizations helps contribute to economic development that is important to our state. NEW BOOK The Art of Classic Rock
Yet another fabulous book by Paul Gruskin. Paul, together with collector Bob Roth put together this amazing book featuring promotional artwork done for the giants of rock. Bands like Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones and The Who are featured in this 120 plus page book. Uncle Charlie's modern day WHO posters are featured in this collection. This book is currently available in the UK but will have it's US release early 2010.
